Each punch is re-machined to accept NIROC's automatic prick punch tips, manufactured from a proprietary tungsten alloy hardened to approximately 72 HRC. This provides exceptional wear resistance while maintaining the toughness required to withstand repeated impacts on hard materials.
The firing mechanism is carefully modified and tuned to maximise reliability and deliver consistent performance every time.
A solid brass NIROC Anti-Roll Technology handle is fitted to improve comfort, control, and bench stability while adding a premium look and feel.
The NIROCed Automatic Centre Punch is designed primarily as a prick punch for accurate hole location marking and layout work. It creates a clean, precise mark that helps guide drills and improve accuracy.
For deeper indentations, we recommend following up with a traditional NIROC tungsten-tipped centre punch.
Like all mechanical tools, automatic centre punches require periodic maintenance to ensure peak performance. Regular cleaning, inspection, and dressing of any burrs on internal components will help maximise service life and reliability.
NIROC fully supports these punches and can provide assistance, servicing advice, and replacement parts when required.

We offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.
The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. For domestic orders (AUS & USA) a prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount. International (Asia) returns will need to be arranged by the customer, and will require a tracking number.
Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
